What kind of company is Marathon Seat Covers, Inc.?
The company began operations in Bozeman, Montana in November of 1978. We are the manufacturer, designing and producing products our own products. We are a mail-order firm, selling direct to the public, as well as to retail customers in the local trade area. We have earned our sterling reputation for quality one customer at a time. Presently we employ 16 excellent people, each concerned with the satisfaction of every customer.

Is this a "one size fits all" cover? How much of the seat is covered?
This is not a universal or "one size fits all" product. We make each cover to fit exactly right every time. Our two piece design eliminates that unsightly "hammock" effect. And best of all, the entire seat is fully covered, even the back.

What kind of materials are used?
We use the finest and most durable fabrics available. Colors are available to complement today's fashionable interiors. NO STRETCH FABRIC is used. No vinyl is used, unless you ask for it specifically. Camo fabrics are 500 and 1,000 denier Cordura nylon, waterproof and "tough as nails."

How easily can I install my new covers?
Our simple "Touch-and-Go" hook-and-loop, (Velcro-like), fasteners make a quick, yet secure installation. Your seat covers will not interfere with the motion of your seat; they allow folding, sliding, tumbling forward, and laying back. Allow one-half hour to two hours to install each set. Call our toll-free number for assistance when installing.

Can I get matching armrest and headrest covers?
For a truly custom look, add matching headrest covers ($36/pair), armrest covers ($20 each or $36/pair) and map pockets ($10 each for front and rear). Various gun scabbards and pockets can be specially designed and sewn to the seat covers. Tell us what you need; we will try to make it.

How do I care for my new covers? Can I machine wash them?
To maintain that new look, they can be machine-laundered with cool water and drip-dried.

Will seat covers damage my original upholstery?
Original upholstery, even leather, is far better off when protected from sand, spills, and the abrasion of clothing. Our seat covers will not rub or damage your seats.

What are my shipping options?
All packages to continental U.S. addresses will be shipped UPS Ground or United States Postal Service at a cost of $25.00 per set, unless expedited shipping is requested. It can take up to 8 days to deliver your seat covers depending on location and time of the year. We ship to customers in Canada via the United States Postal Service. We normally ship to customers in Alaska and Hawaii via the United States Postal Service. Service there normally takes 5-7 days.

What are your operating hours?

What is the warranty?
SuperHides, Seat Armor, and Fanfare seat covers are warranted to be free from material and manufacturing defects for a period of two years. Camo fabrics and solid color Cordura nylons are not warranted to withstand UV fading or dye loss due to abrasion in high-traffic areas.

What is Marathon's privacy policy?
The information which you enter in our Secure Order Form or email to us is held strictly confidential. Under no circumstances will we sell or give away any of this information.

We may use your mail address or email address to send you product information from our company , no more than four times per year. We hope you find the price discounts, new product announcements, seasonal and special offers helpful. You will be able to opt out of these mailings at any time. This is a new policy as of October 28, 2004.

What are the returns & cancellation terms and conditions?
These are custom seat covers, sewn one-at-a-time, just for you. We cover hundreds of vehicles and stock dozens of fabrics. Seat covers are non-returnable, except in the case of manufacturing defects or error. A 50% restocking fee could be applied upon return at managements discretion. Your satisfaction is our utmost concern. If part of a set does not fit to your satisfaction, we will either alter that piece, or build you a new, redesigned piece, at our discretion, and after consulting with you. Orders are non-cancellable unless you notify us before the cover is in production. Therefore, it is in your best interest to clarify all details about your vehicle, seat, and the materials desired.

Is Cordura waterproof?

Cordura® is 2 times more durable than standard nylon 3 times more durable than polyester 10 times more durable than cotton duck

	Waterproof demonstration- Here we are pouring water into a bowl lined with the Advantage Wetlands Camo® fabric. As you can see in the second image, no water has gone through the fabric.

Cordura® Nylon is rugged and waterproof. Water will stand in a pool without dripping through. (Durable Water Repellency (DWR) fabric coating is partly responsible. This coating can lose some of its effectiveness through laundering or abrasion from clothing. In our glass bowl demonstration (see above), if we scratched the fabric at the bottom of the pool of water with our fingernails, water would begin to ooze through.) One customer called us with a real-life example. He and a buddy left their pickup to set goose decoys. A dog was in the cab of the pickup. The dog knocked over two coffee containers, spilling on the SuperHides seat covers. When the hunters returned, they mopped up the mess and returned home. They removed the seat covers. No coffee had soaked through even though the seat covers were over a year old.

	Durability Demonstration- In these photos we are attempting to puncture fabric with a flat-bladed screwdriver. The tip is approximately 3/16" wide. We are applying, (very roughly), 30 to 50 pounds of pressure.
